Marcus Fernandez RSHom
I have been practicing and teaching homeopathy for the last twenty two years .
In 1998, along with two colleagues, we founded the Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE) in London. We were motivated by our desire to continue the legacy of the great homeopaths who trained us, and we felt there wasn’t yet a homeopathic training course which offered its students an in-depth understanding of both Classical and Practical modern approaches to homeopathy. We wanted to make homeopathy accessible to all, by offering short courses for complete beginners ranging to longer term Licentiate and BSc degree level courses for those who would like to become homeopaths.
I am passionate about facilitating a community for homeopaths and those who are interested in homeopathy. We do this by regularly organising seminars, conferences and postgraduate training courses, and we have an active community on Facebook.
I am particularly proud of our combined Licentiate and the UK’s only BSc(Hons) Homeopathy programme, which has created a benchmark for homeopathic education in the UK. By offering a homeopathic training at a higher education level we can produce graduates who not only thrive in practice but are equipped to lead their profession. Homeopathy now stands alongside all the other major complementary therapies – Osteopathy, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine – in offering degree programmes.
